Ask a High-Energy Astronomer

The Question

(Submitted March 20, 1997)

Do you have any links to network search engines for astronomy?

The Answer

Here are some sites that you may want to check out, forwarded to me by a couple of members of the "Ask a High-Energy Astronomer" team (thanks, Mike & Andy).

AstroWeb is a searchable compilation at STScI: http://www.stsci.edu/science/net-resources.html

Here is one search engine that isn't so bad, and it's very well organized: http://www.yahoo.com/Science/Astronomy/

But HotBot and Altavista (if you type astronomy) are a bit more thorough and complete: http://www.hotbot.com/ and http://altavista.digital.com/.
